Creating a 3D Effect on a 2D drawing (rules)

♦ To obtain the best image quality when rotating, you must work on a Front image.

INOPERATIONAL

PROFILE VIEW

GOOD VIEW

Indeed, an image seen from the front provides good symmetry of the area to be inflated and rotated, an oblique shape loses this symmetry and results in a distorted or poorly rendered side.

♦ It is not necessary to trace outside the drawing in order to preserve the basic contour of the drawing, inflated as the interior part of the drawing, otherwise it is the exterior contour which would also be inflated leading to a deformation of the drawing.

BAD TRACKING GOOD TRACING

♦ The drawing must not be concave because the higher part of the drawing of the concave part will not be inflated.BAD TRACKING

♦ Some complex areas in certain places can distort the basic drawing, try to redraw part of the deformed area in order to correct the deformation.

♦ See the example drawing Serena 7, the part of the collar was deformed and by creating a small area of the collar the deformation disappeared (to be specified in the examples)

♦ After a certain number of recalls of a project, it may be that the result of swelling causes horizontally streaked or jerky areas to appear, this means that the plot has suffered a loss of data.

To correct this defect, it is preferable to delete the plot from the list presenting this defect on swelling, and to redo it.

Two types of drawing:

Type 1: design Composed of several distinct areas to be inflated, one after the other.

Type 2: drawings that can have neighboring areas, to be combined on a global layout, in order to obtain a good result.

1. Clearly identify the areas of the design to be inflated.

Generally, there are two types of drawing.

- The first is a drawing made up of very distinct areas, such as the face, the central body and the arms.

These Zones can be created, and inflated one after the other, without encroaching on the neighboring zone.

- the second type is a design composed of areas which can overlap during inflation.

Example: the bottom of the central body can cover the legs, which may require tracing the body with the legs so that the connection is correct. (See examples.)

1. Start the tracings, always from the left, and never bite the outline of a drawing, the tracing can be done under several sections. Keep on going.

2. The swelling of a zone is done one zone at a time: tracing the test trace, if validated then memorizing the trace.

3. Click on NEW for the following plot 4. Special cases:

Several areas to inflate that touch each other:

Example: skirt and continuity of the legs.

 Two. Possibilities:

1. Trace each zone, one after the other, saving them one after the other. (Do test) 2. Trace the complete area of both parts of the drawing, making sure to trace inside the outline of the drawing.

Note: the projection of the lower parts in the horizontal or oblique mode requires a larger outline for the lower part which may distort the second part of the drawing.

Solution: try horizontal projection Where Draw two areas and inflate them one after the other

At this stage, it is a matter of configuring the inflation according to your needs, see the following section for more details

Important :

For 3D R effects to be your product, there must be at least 15 GB available on the hard drive.
In fact, perspective uses RAM and disk memory during these 2D to 3D effect conversions.

Faults noticed if the memory on the Disk is insufficient:
1) This can result in deformations of the drawing after application of the 3D effect
2) White areas may appear in the drawing after applying the 3D effect
3) After clicking on All in order to apply a 3D effect to the zones added in the group, this can result in a zone offset or a deformation of the zones depending on the case.

Solution: Delete unnecessary files or folders and empty the trash.
