COLLECTION is the collection management tool. it is composed of 5 main tools:

It creates collections identical to the main P2018 drawing tool, but among other things it allows you to import drawings from outside the PERSPECTIVE environment via the Windows taskbar
to group photos or any other type of document (image, text file, video, etc.)

At the very beginning of 2024, the release of Pv2024 is planned

Among these new features, there is the 3D effect function with its list of settings allowing you to give a 2D image a 3D effect.

These new features will allow designers and stylists to improve the presentation of their project.

Add a perspective and viewing angle to a 2D drawing with great ease.

Indeed, giving volume and modifying the presentation of your 2D drawings is an important step forward.

With great ease, you can define the area to be inflated by penciling its outline, then give it the desired volume.

Note: the best results were obtained on frontal base images (front view).

This 2024 version of PERSPECTIVE includes version 1600/900 (Portable PC standard) and version 1920/1080 and more for desktop PCs, so the menu bars will be complete whatever the workstation.

In fact, a front image allows a good restitution of the surfaces to be inflated or rotated, thus making it possible to obtain the same drawing from different angles as a mannequin would do.

Without the tedious manipulations of a 3D environment, the new Perspective features will greatly improve the final quality of the drawings.

PERSPECTIVE 2022 (v1.6)

The 2022 version of Perspective (standard and complete) now allows you to import, export, open and save projects in PSD format, the Photoshop file format.
Users of Photoshop and Perspective will now be able to transmit or continue under Perspective, their project created with Photoshop or vice versa and exchange their project regardless of the tool used (Photoshop or Perspective).

This compatibility with projects created in Photoshop opens up new perspectives for these users. They can switch from one tool to another depending on functionality
they will need while keeping their project on both platforms.
Advantage: using the functionalities of each environment (Photoshop and Perspective) allows you to increase creativity and the transmission of projects. On this first

version 2022 of Perspective, the emphasis was given to the pattern creation tool.

Each project can now contain 20 different variations of the same project, so 20 different images for each project created.
The user can thus create up to 20 models of the same project called MEMO, saved automatically and recalled each time it reopens for consultation or development.

Unlike layers in Photoshop, MEMOs in Perspective are image files in JPG format with a small size of around 250 Kb, files which can be
opened by most Windows drawing software, for example PAINT, which does not limit the recall and modification of these MEMOs to a single tool.

New Perspective 2022 interface

What's up !
- More functionality for creating drawings.

This version has notably been equipped with horizontal and vertical rules, a grid of 1, 5 or 10 cm sides to facilitate the proportions of the drawings being created, but also very useful floating rules to limit certain measurements of a drawing such as shoulder width or front height.

Tools pane:

The tools pane provides access to the main drawing tools, but also to specific functions such as access to grids, rules among others.

Fabrics section:

The Fabrics pane provides access to the bank of canvases created with the CRE_CAN tool intended for this purpose. This panel gives access to certain functions such as filling by cryonization or filling.

Collection pane:

PATRON v3 Features

Pattern creation software

DESCRIPTION :

PATRON_v3 is software designed to create patterns in three different ways:

1) By flat tracing, each final tracing comes from a global tracing made up of straight lines and curves drawn at precise lengths and angles.

2) By importing a scanned drawing in A4 format used as a layer then resized according to the actual scale or actual dimensions of the final layout.

3) Using a personal bust as a model, two methods of use.

3) First method (with access to the molding)

- After having selected a personal bust and having modified its measurements if necessary, selection of one of the 12 basic tracings starting point of the final tracing on which you can modify your measurements with the tool created for this purpose then add to it a supplement if necessary (accessible molding).

3) Second method (without access to the molding)

- Or after having selected a personal bust and having modified its measurements if necessary, this method can be used to create elements or other objects to be worn on a garment, their creation thus being carried out on a real size (molding Not available).

Easy to use PATRON v3 uses a single measurement table per project to create sizes different from the base pattern size.

It allows you to modify the size differences according to the selected size but also to add seam allowance to the dimension of your choice and according to the straight lines or curves chosen.

Main drawing interface:

In this version, the tracing functions are simple but allow you to get to the essentials, straight lines and curves are accessible whatever the zoom of the tracing.

To continue a project with a basic layout as a starting point, start by adjusting the measurements of the layout outline, complete it then add elements taken from the element bank (Collar, Pocket, etc.).

It should be remembered that these elements can be created directly on the current layout and saved or not in the personal element bank depending on the type of layout, the view concerned as well as the type of element (Collar, Pocket, etc.).

Example, a new project with bust where we have selected a typical basic layout (fitted dress), we can see the high cut and modifiable part:

Changes made:

1) shoulder width (neck width of the dress).

2) shoulder length.

3) Front collar height.

Modification of the measurements of a plot of the second group (Long pants, Short pants)

1) As an example, we created a project with a size 34 bust with the option of access to the basic lines. We selected pants as the basic layout

whose measurements (by default) are those of the current bust.

2) after going through the back view to confirm the use of the basic outline of the Pants, we click on the Develop icon to access the developed outline of the current view here the Front view
We thus obtain 1/2 of the development of the Front view.

3) Clicking on the (Retouch) button allows us to open the Front Panel below, where we can observe the editable measurements of the plot after it has been developed.
The input fields (not grayed) are the modifiable measurements such as for example the lengths AM or MB (pant size) to name only these two measurements.

Note: The view here activates the Front view, left part (in blue) allows access to the measurements of the Front trace, if we were on the Back view, we would have access to the measurements

from the rear view (right part).

Example below of a basic layout (here a fitted dress) of which we have modified certain measurements as an example (collar, shoulder, waist, back height, collar height, bottom skirt width...

Some modifications made:

		Detail: We can observe 4 different routes: - The first route ((short interrupted) corresponding to the basic route in the central part. - A second line (continuous) corresponding to the basic molding where we can see the shoulders, the underside of the armhole and the waist enlarged according to the proportions of the profile view - A third and a fourth line (continuous) corresponding to the molding on which retouching has been carried out. 1) shoulder width. 2) low shoulder height. 3) neck width. 4) armhole height. 5) height of the front collar. Note: the modifications made to the shoulder, the armhole and the lower part of this dress are only made as an example to show that the outline after molding can be retouched according to needs. You just need to know the measurements and apply them as a touch-up (after molding) to get as close as possible to the desired measurements (touch-up tool). 4 measurement table models are available, inspired by BURDA tables, you can create and modify the measurements of your choice whatever the size, synchronization functions

allow it to be imported according to the base size of the pattern, all the measurements of the plot after each straight line or curve has been named (selection of a measurement name from a list for each straight line or curve).

Cutting plan and additional sizes:

The Cutting Plane tool brings together a certain number of operations:

Isolation of the exterior layout from the overall layout of the pattern
A tool for naming straight lines and curves based on the measurement names available in the measurement table associated with the pattern
A tool for creating and modifying seam margins assigned according to the selected straight or curve.
A tool for creating sizes other than that of the basic pattern, the measurements are taken from the measurement table associated with the project

Its print manager:

In a few clicks, it allows the selection or deselection of useful or unnecessary sheets of paper, the choice of an A4 or A3 paper format and an adjustment of Pixels/cm for correction of dimensions after printing.

- Result obtained after selecting size 40 with a seam allowance of 1 cm and deselecting unnecessary sheets.

- Result obtained after printing on A4 sheets, size 40 with a seam allowance of 1 cm all around the pattern:

Note: the maximum print size on this version of Patron is 80 cm wide by 120 cm high, sufficient dimensions to meet most needs.

Below is a visual of the final pattern printed on 6 sheets in A4 format, 6 sheets selected from the 16 sheets selectable on an output in A4 format.

By selecting the sheets to print on the printer manager mosaic, this allows the user to save time on paper and ink.

Importation d'un fichier PSD (Photoshop) dans Perspective et exportation d'un projet Perspective en un fichier PSD (Photoshop)

La version 2022 de Perspective (standard et complète) permet à présent d'importer ou d'exporter des projets au format PSD le format de fichier de Photoshop.

Les utilisateurs de Photoshop et de Perspective pourront à présent se transmettre ou poursuivre sous Perspective, leur projet créé avec Photoshop ou inversement
et s'échanger leur projet quel que soit l'outil utilisé (Photoshop ou Perspective).
Cette compatibilité avec les projets créés sous Photoshop ouvre de nouvelles perspectives pour ces utilisateurs. Ils peuvent passer d'un outil à l'autre selon la fonctionnalité
dont ils auront besoin tout en conservant leur projet sur les deux plates-formes.
Avantage : utiliser les fonctionnalités de chaque environnement (Photoshop et Perspective) permet d'accroître la créativité et la transmission des projets. Sur cette première

A la demande de certains utilisateurs, cet outil a été ajouté au panel de l’environnement de création de Perspective.

Chaque projet peut à présent contenir 20 variations différentes du même projet, donc 20 images différentes pour chaque projet créé.

Pour plus de confort dans l’utilisation de l’outil de dessin, il a été apporté certaines améliorations sur l’interface utilisateur le rendant plus agréable au quotidien.
Note : cette évolution a été intégrée dans la fonction d'expédition, d'archivage et de des archivages dans COLLECTION v6, ainsi chaque archivage de projet intègre
également ses 20 mémos constituant le projet complet.

Cette version a notamment été dotée de règles horizontales et verticales, de grille de 1, 5 ou 10 cm de cotés pour faciliter les proportions des dessins en cours de création, mais aussi de règles flottantes très utiles pour limiter certaines mesures d’un dessin comme la largeur épaule ou la hauteur de devant.

PATRON v2 : L'interface principal de l'outil de création de patron (à plat ou par importation de dessin au format A4).

Composition :

- 1 outil de tracé de patron sous 3 méthodes (tracé à plat, importation de dessin et utilisation d'un buste personnalisé)

- 1 outil de création et de gestion des tableaux de mesure type BURDA.

- 1 outil de création de taille avec ajout des marges de couture.

- 1 gestionnaire d’impression (A4 et A3)

Si dessous l’exemple d’un tracé de base type chemisier créé automatiquement selon les mesures du buste personnel, on y a ajouté une colle issue de la banque des éléments précédemment créé et mémorisé.

Note : un élément que ce soit un colle un poche ou tout autre élément se créé sur un seul coté du buste utilisé, une fonction de symétrie incluse dans l’outil de création d’élément permet la création de la symétrie de l’élément ajouté au tracé quel que soit le coté créé.

Exemple si l’on créé un col (partie gauche) la symétrie partie droite sera créée automatiquement par un simple clic sur le bouton symétrie, et réciproquement pour une création sur la partie droite du buste.

Après le retrait du buste, pour un mayeur visualisation du tracé on peut contrôler plus aisément la dimension des mesures (ici la longueur d’emmanchure).

In the Perspective COLLECTION tool, a function allows the transfer of any type of document to a server (FTP) which allows its users an additional backup on a remote server (15 programmable servers).

Its functionality is similar to Filezilla or CutFTP tools.
